Resources for Buyers

When a homebuyer sets out to find their dream home, they often know what they want, for the most part. They know the “when,” “where,” and “why.” Whether it’s due to relocation for work or the military, upsizing for a growing family, or downsizing for retirement, I always listen first and ask questions later.

Once we’re clear on that story, we’ll hammer out a plan to find your perfect match. Then, we’ll explore all details to ensure we’re looking in the right neighborhoods, school districts, and price range.

I’ll also help you prequalify for financing and down payment so it updates your personalized MLS search automatically. This narrows our search results to only properties that meet your budget as well.

If you have a home that needs to be sold before you move, I’ll be glad to help you calculate the usable proceeds from a sale. This is a great way to get clear on a realistic price range and a list of properties ready to accept your terms.

Once we’ve narrowed our search list and targeted homes that meet your needs, it’s up to you to decide if you’re ready to continue or need some time to review. If you tell me you’re ready to pursue any or all of the properties on your list, I’ll do all the research to ensure there are no known problems with the paperwork or the property itself. This way, we can confidently walk the properties and know what to expect.

I’ll point out everything of interest to you to ensure you see what I see. I’ll submit offers and negotiate on your behalf to ensure you get the best value for your money. Then, once I hand over those keys, you’ll feel good about your choice.
